How the festival got its start

The film festival was started by Sarah Reynolds-Seweryniak, The Sun Reporter. Her love of film led her to bring something to the community that would help inspire young minds.

The event takes place annually during the Burger Fest at 1 p.m. at The Palace Theatre located at 31 Buffalo Street in the Village of Hamburg.

Previous years judge panel included Palace Theatre owner and organizer Jay Rouf, Erie Community College South Campus Communications professor John Harrigan and Sarah Reynolds-Seweryniak.

The event played out with a packed house during a cool sunny summer day.

Don't miss the once in a lifetime chance to get to see your film on the big screen, and perhaps win an award!
